Nick Aucoin Biography
Nick Aucoin has always been a storyteller. Born in Massachusetts, he would go on to discover a lifelong love for media of varied formats. He began acting at the age of four, engaging in community theater productions. His early childhood also brought about his first steps in writing and directing - from making short films with his friends to self-publishing his first book when he was nine years old.
Aucoin's passion for horror was sparked from his father showing him Jaws (1975) at a young age. This passion grew immensely in his teen years. At fourteen, he finished his first formally-made short film, in the form of a horror-comedy called Slumber Party of Panic. He would also publish his first piece of horror fiction as a teenager and began voice acting in 2019.
Over the years, he has worked on a variety of projects as a screenwriter, director, actor, and producer. In June of 2024, he took another step in the entertainment industry when he co-founded The Murder Associates Productions (a horror production company) with A Wheeler. Their first projects included the sapphic horror podcast, Carnivea: A Queer Gothic, and the short film, The Mare's Game.
