Nejia Ouerghi Biography
A Tunisian actress, who is considered one of the most important women in Tunisian and Arab theater. She married distinguished artist Nour El Din El Warghi. She began her career in 1967 with the El Kef Theater Troupe before establishing with her husband the Al Ard Theater Troupe. She has more than fifty plays to her credit, the most important of which are the plays Khaira and Mughnat, which she directed herself.
She participated in several cinematic works, including The Silences of the Palace. Her TV series include Between the Folds, Night Ambergris, and For Catherine's Sake.
