Mike Staples Biography
Mike Staples is a male professional wrestler. He is known for his enormous weight and for his single appearance on TNA early PPV serial as Cheex. Staples got his start in the local independent promotions of Virginia and Pennsylvania where his large size was an attraction and he sometimes wrestled handicap matches against two opponents. He's had at least one retirement match in 2001.
In 2002, Staples had his only match on Pay-Per-View where he defeated Frank Parker on TNA's second show. He was roundly criticized for being winded and out of shape, which contributed to a horrible match. Staples has wrestled several matches for Bruiser Wrestling Federation (BWF) under the name Rolling Thunder in 2014 and 2015. Outside of wrestling, Staples worked for RADAR, a mass transit system for senior citizens in Roanoke, Virginia.
In 2006 Staples underwent a gastric bypass operation which led to a stroke.
