Mahmud Jun Biography
Dato' Mahmud Jun or better known as Mahmood June (20 January 1921 – 14 February 2002) is a Malaysian actor who is well known for his fierce look and spontaneous act in the classic black and white Malay films. His real name is Mahmood Bin Derani. He was known for his potrayal character in Jalak Lenteng, Sri Mersing dan Sultan Mahmud Mangkat Dijulang.
He died on 14 February 2002 at the age of 81 at his home in di Kampung Laksamana, Selayang,Selangor. before that, he was treated to Selayang Hospital Cardiac Treatment Unit due to asthma and lung failure.His body was ladi to rest in Islamic cemetery Sungai Tua, Selayang,Selangor,Malaysia.
