Kate Mills

Kate Mills is an ex-journalist turned CEO in the for-purpose sector. After 20 years of print journalism including a stint as the editor of Business Review Weekly, she left journalism to set up her own business finding jobs for skilled women looking to return to work. This was Kate’s first entry into the for-purpose/social enterprise sector, where she uses her business skills to pursue better social outcomes.

She is currently the CEO of the Property Industry Foundation where she works with the property and construction industry to build homes for youth homelessness. Her favorite pursuits are walking and talking – preferably at the same time.
