José R. Somoza Biography
José R. Somoza (1913-2004) was a Nicaraguan military officer. He was a son of Nicaraguan military dictator Anastasio Somoza García, and brother of Luis Anastasio Somoza Debayle and Anastasio Somoza Debayle, the 50th and 53rd Presidents of Nicaragua, respectively. In July 1979, José Somoza fled Nicaragua to Miami, Florida, where he died in 2004.
