José Pablo Cedeño was born on October 5, 1999 in Morelia, Michoacan, México. He is a director and writer, known for The Wizard (2022), I Heard It (2021), ¡Si Puedo! (2019) and La Apuesta (2017). Official filmmaker since he was 15 years old. Participating multiple times in short film contests. Winning in 2017 with his short film La Apuesta (2017), the world gold medal for Mexico in the world final of short films INFOMATRIX held in Bucharest, Romania.

In 2019 with his short film ¡Si Puedo! (2019) he won along with his brother Fernando the rank of "International Excellence" in the e17FC held in Seville, Spain. Graduated with a degree in Interactive Media from the University of Morelia (UdeM). Creator and director of AnimAura Festival Internacional de Animación®, the first animation festival in the state of Michoacán, Mexico.
