Joanna Ferbrache Biography
Joanna Ferbrache first discovered her love for the theatre after watching the play Fiddler on the Roof with Lifelight Youth Theatre. After that, she decided she had to act herself. She began acting with Lifelight Youth Theatre by playing the role of Kate and the understudy for Gertie in the play Oklahoma in 2006. She continued to pursue acting in theatre and then in film in 2009 when she was apart of the cast in the hit St.
Louis film Logan, produced by Kyle Lawrence. Ferbrache also played an integral role in another of his projects he later consulted on, the TV Series Up on High Ground. She has played in multiple other films and productions including Cassandra Bell in Isaac White's Meteors, Heidi in [title of show] with Shatterglass, Mina in Dracula with Actor's Circle, and Nellie in Jekyll and Hyde with Phoenix Performing Arts Centre.
Acting went from hobby to profession in her senior year of college when offered the role of First Mate Granuaile Aednat M'Dermott with Swords and Roses. She has also been taking classes in St. Louis with Creative Actors. In the fall of 2014 she will be working on two films, one in New York, and the other in New Jersey.
