Jim Ashilevi Biography
Jim Ashilevi (born on August 29, 1984 in Tallinn) is an Estonian writer and director. He studied at Tallinn English College and then went to Tallinn University to major in audiovisual media, which he also graduated from. He continued his studies at the Viljandi Academy of Culture as a director, which he graduated in 2011. He has written plays and published short prose and poetry in the magazines Vikerkaar, Värske Råh, Vihik and ZA/UM.
Hosted the TV show "OP!" from fall 2010 to early 2014. Since 2013, Ashilevi has been a member of the Von Krahl Theater. Works as a director, actor and playwright.
