Helena Kara Biography
Aini Helena Kara (until 1927 Dahl, since 1940 Leminen; 16 August 1916 Salo - 26 February 2002 Helsinki) was a Finnish film actress and one of the most popular film stars in Finland during the Second World War. Along with Lea Joutseno and Regina Linnanheimo, she was one of the Finnish actresses in the old film industry who didn't have a theatrical background.
She was married to director Hannu Leminen and starred in many of his films, including their best-known collaboration, the melodrama White Roses (1943).
