Guilherme de Almeida Prado Biography
Guilherme de Almeida Prado (Ribeirão Preto, November 6, 1954) is a Brazilian film director. He got his start as an assistant director in pornochanchada films in the so-called "boca do lixo" in São Paulo. From his second film onwards, Almeida Prado begun to make movies inspired by the atmosphere of 40s and 50s cinema, especially Hollywood film noir and Mexican melodrama.
