Éric Boullier, born on November 9, 1973, in Laval, France, is a prominent figure in motorsport management, particularly in Formula 1. He graduated from the Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Appliquées, specializing in aeronautics and spacecraft engineering. Boullier's career began in the early 2000s with the DAMS racing team, where he served as Managing and Technical Director.

He also managed the French A1 Grand Prix team, showcasing his leadership in international motorsport. In 2010, Boullier became Team Principal of Renault F1 Team, which later rebranded as Lotus F1 Team. Under his leadership, the team achieved notable successes, including multiple podium finishes and race victories. In 2014, he joined McLaren Racing as Racing Director, overseeing the team's operations during a challenging period.

Boullier resigned from McLaren in 2018. In 2019, Boullier was appointed as Strategic Sports Advisor and Global Ambassador for the French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard.
