Ed Sayer Biography
Ed trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Prior to this he studied Drama/English at the University of Bristol and worked in the Education department at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Theatre credits include Dear Brutus (Southwark Playhouse), First Light (Chichester Festival Theatre), and Cheek by Jowl’s production of The Winter’s Tale (Barbican, BAM, International & U.
K. Tour). He has directed extensively for the award-winning Young Pleasance Theatre company. As of 2018, he has been on the audition panel at Guildhall for the BA and MA acting programmes. His television roles include The Crown (2016) Pennyworth (2020) and Toast of Tinseltown (2022)
