David Kennedy Biography
David Kennedy, born on January 15, 1953, in Sligo, Ireland, is a former racing driver who competed in Formula One and sports car racing. He joined the Formula One grid in 1980 with Shadow, though his career there was hampered by an uncompetitive car. Kennedy later found success with Mazda in endurance racing, notably placing sixth in the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans.
After retiring, he became a driver manager, a TV analyst, and held a leadership role at Mondello Park, Ireland’s top motorsport venue.
