Clara-Sophia Wernig Biography
The 16-year-old violinist Clara-Sophia Wernig was born and raised in London but is of Italian-Austrian-German origin. She began to study the violin at the age of four and comes from a musical background. She was awarded a place at the Yehudi Menuhin School at only ten years of age, previously studying under Natasha Boyarsky and currently with Lutsia Ibragimova.
She has recently performed a highly successful recital hosted by Florian Leonhard. She has just completed her GCSEs. Clara enjoys reading chamber music with her friends in her free time.
