Clara Salaman

Clara Rachel Salaman is an English actress. She is known for playing the role of DS Claire Stanton in the long running ITV drama "The Bill". She first appeared on "The Bill" as a victim, Penny Thompson, on episode 6 of series 11. She has also appeared in several other television programmes, including "A Touch of Frost" and "Kingdom". Salaman has recently moved into writing: she has written a play for the National Theatre and a screenplay for Granada Television.

She has also written several novels.
