Carriann Arkowski Biography
Born and raised in the Midwest, Carriann Johnson developed her hard working ethics and down to earth personality. In the mid 90s, she studied at The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts. She would later prove that creating custom artwork for her clients, was that personal touch her audience was craving. While in college, she studied briefly with French Designer, Madame Kuony.
It was at that time she discovered her love for Interior Design. At the age of 20, she received her first Design contract – designing and decorating a modern Loft in downtown Milwaukee. In 2003, her love for the camera emerged. An Interior Designer with a love for the lens, Carriann made design television her new home. From 2005 – 2013, she appeared on HGTV’s “My First Place,” and “Bang For Your Buck.
” She has also hosted shows for PBS and local TV stations in Colorado. When Carriann is not in front of the camera, she is working on various Design Projects as well as enhancing her very own product line, “The Home Collection” by Carriann offered at colorluxshades.com. In 2015, she was listed as one of the “Top 10 Home Improvement Celebrities We Love” by Pro.
