Balázs Simonyi Biography
He studied film theory, film history, Hungarian language, and literature at ELTE BTK from 1998 to 2006. Pursued a PhD in philosophy, completing it in 2013. Throughout his career, he have worked as a dubbing artist, lending his voice to numerous TV and radio commercials, as well as foreign films. From 1986 to 2007, he was a member of Margit Földessy's drama studio, and in 2000, he founded the Kex and Tea literary reading night series.
In 2003, he joined the first improvisational theatre company in Hungary, Momentán Társulat, where he served as the lead actor until leaving in 2012. Since 2002, he have worked as a creative freelancer, making films, long-form photo series, commercials, and television programs. His documentaries have been featured in various festivals worldwide.
