Afonso Mota Biography
Afonso Mota (20th April 1993) was born and raised in Lisbon. In 2015, he graduated in Cinematography at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in Lisbon. That same year, his first short "Empty Room" received an honourable mention at Festival Vila do Conde. His second short "The South" was selected for the IndieLisboa International Film Festival in 2016.
In 2019, he directed his first fiction film "Phantom Power".
