Get ready to be "Good to Be Bad."

The Disney Channel announced the premiere date of "Descendants 3," the latest installment in its musical fantasy film series. It will air at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 2.

The original cast including Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, and Cameron Boyce all return, as does director Kenny Ortega ("High School Musical").

"Descendants" follows the teen children of Disney's greatest villains, like Maleficent, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil. In the third movie, the Villain Kids return to their birthplace, the Isle of the Lost, to recruit four more Villain Kids to join them at Auradon Prep. There, they’ll have a chance at finding success, happiness, and fulfillment.

But a dark force threatens the idyllic Auradon and it's up to the Villain Kids to save their new home.

Disney Channel also released the music video for "Good to Be Bad." The single is available to purchase on Friday and will be part of the "Descendants 3" soundtrack, currently available to pre-order.
