Actress/director Hannah Marks of "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency," has been hired to direct an adaption of YA novel "Turtles All the Way Down" for Fox 2000.

At just 25, that makes her one of the youngest women to ever direct a studio film. Her first feature "After Everything"  (which she co-wrote and co-directed with Joey Power) premiered to glowing reviews at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival, where she was nominated for the Game Changer award.

"Turtles All the Way Down" is the best-selling book by John Green, author of another YA hit, "The Fault in Our Stars."

The story is about a 16-year-old a girl with OCD who tries to find a missing billionaire in hopes of getting the $100,000 reward.

Marks's other acting credits include the TV series "Awkward.," "Necessary Roughness" and horror anthology movie "Southbound."
