George Clooney Reportedly Bartended at the Royal Wedding, Because He's the Best
Move over, Tom Hanks: There's a new celebrity bartender who's coming to take your Most Delightful Party Guest title.
According to sources who spoke with Entertainment Tonight, none other than George Clooney reportedly briefly stepped in as bartender at the reception following last weekend's royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. ET reports that Clooney dished out some shots and generally charmed the pants off of everyone at the lavish party. (Well, metaphorically, anyway -- the Queen and the rest of the royal family probably wouldn't approve of such scandalous shenanigans.)
"George hopped behind the bar and was actually bartending for a bit," ET's source said of the star's impromptu gesture of goodwill. "He poured Casamigos drinks and shots and got everyone dancing!"
Casamigos is the swanky tequila brand that Clooney co-founded with his longtime friend (and husband of Cindy Crawford) Rande Gerber. The pair sold the label last summer to European liquor conglomerate Diageo for a sum in the $1 billion range.
Clooney attended the highly-rated nuptials with his wife, accomplished British human rights attorney Amal Clooney, and a host of other celebs. Among the many, many other famous faces in attendance were: David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John, Serena Williams, Idris Elba, Oprah Winfrey, James Corden, Patrick J. Adams, and Priyanka Chopra.
