Amy Schumer Explains Her 'Rush' to Get Married in Wedding Video
After pulling off a secret wedding on Feb. 13, Amy Schumer has decided to give fans a closer look at her special day and her relationship.
The comedian shared a wedding video via Instagram Wednesday; it's only about a minute long, but it packs in a number of touching moments, including portions of the vows she and her then-fiancé Chris Fischer exchanged. As Schumer speaks hers, she reveals that people had been asking her, "Why the rush?" and "Why so fast?" She then answers the question, telling Fischer, "It's because I truly cannot wait another second to be your wife."
Schumer and Fischer, a chef, had only been dating a few months when they got married, according to Us Weekly. Their relationship evidently got serious quickly, and from the looks of the video, they're deeply in love. In his vows, Fischer told his bride that she brings "happiness and joy to every part of [his] life" and called her "the best thing to ever happen to [him]."
The couple's special day was reportedly witness by guests such as Jennifer Lawrence, Judd Apatow, Larry David, Jennifer Aniston, Chelsea Handler, and Jerry Seinfeld. If you look closely, you'll see Lawrence and David in the video.
