Michael B. Jordan Is Burning Hot in HBO's 'Fahrenheit 451' Trailer
Michael B. Jordan is on fire.
The actor is currently starring in the biggest movie of the year (and many other other years), "Black Panther." And now, he's burning up the new trailer for HBO's movie "Fahrenheit 451."
Based on the classic sci-fi book by Ray Bradbury, the movie is set in a dystopian future and follows Guy Montag (Jordan), a fireman who burns books in a campaign of censorship and information control.
As his boss Captain Beatty (Michael Shannon) says, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing." And that includes news, memoirs, and the "internet of old."
At first, Guy dutifully points his flamethrower at the illegal books, but soon begins questioning the rightness of what they're doing.
This adaptation feels very timely, much like Hulu's "Handmaid's Tale," with all the talk of fake news and the president's attacks on mainstream media.
"Fahrenheit 451" premieres on HBO in May.
