Tom Hanks Delivered Drinks to His Entire Golden Globes Table Like the National Treasure He Is
Tom Hanks can do no wrong in our eyes, and his latest admirable act has only further cemented his status as a national treasure.
Proving he's the ultimate nice guy, Hanks did his table a solid at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards and graciously decided to pick up the drinks, a necessary staple at the famously boozy ceremony. The star -- who was up for the Best Actor in a Drama statuette for his role in "The Post" -- could be seen waiting at the bar during the first commercial break of the night, where he grabbed beverages for himself and his famous seatmates, including Meryl Streep and Steven Spielberg. (We assume that Oprah, who was also seated at Hanks's table, had Stedman fetch her a libation.)
Best thing I've seen here. Tom Hanks delivering a tray of martinis to his table. The best. #goldenglobespic.twitter.com/GkyQy8NCMy

"This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman captured the awesome moment in a photo, and shared the snap on Twitter, declaring Hanks's gesture the "best thing I've seen here." (You can forgive Fogelman for not saving that superlative for Oprah's epic -- and possibly presidential -- speech, since it hadn't happened yet.)
Others who witnessed the actor's simple act of charity were equally impressed, especially since he didn't spill a drop off of his "wobbly tray."
"He's perfect," raved MTV's Josh Horowitz.
We have to concur. Never change, Tom.
