"New Girl" is headed into its seventh and final season this spring, and we can officially mark its premiere date on our calendars.

Fox made the big announcement Thursday, revealing that the sitcom will return for its farewell season on April 10. There will be eight episodes to wrap up the series, so it will be a bittersweet ride.

Stars Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, and Hannah Simone are all coming back, and we'll pick up with their characters' lives three years after the events of Season 6, Deadline reported in May. They'll go through additional life milestones as we get to share one last year of their lives. We're getting emotional already.

Season 7's fun will also reportedly include several other familiar faces. Damon Wayans Jr., Dermot Mulroney, and Jamie Lee Curtis are among the guest stars we'll see, according to Deadline.

"New Girl" returns Tuesday April 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
