Melissa McCarthy has been rewarded for making our lives so "Spicey" this year.

Back before White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer resigned, the actress made multiple appearances on "Saturday Night Live" to impersonate him. It was an impression the White House was reportedly not too fond of but many fans certainly loved. Apparently, the Television Academy Foundation adored it, as well, because McCarthy won a Creative Arts Emmy Award for hosting "SNL."

The specific episode that earned McCarthy the award aired on May 13, and in one of the skits, the comedian rode a motorized podium through the streets of New York, looking for President Trump. It was just one of many Spicey moments that fans enjoyed.

There isn't really any reason for McCarthy to bring her Spicer impression back to the show now that he no longer works at the White House, but we'll always have the memories and she'll have the Emmy.
