'Legion' Trailer: Dan Stevens Gets His World Rocked in FX's 'X-Men' Spinoff
Finding out you're a mutant would be mind-boggling, to say the least, but it looks even more so for David Haller in the latest trailer for the "X-Men" spinoff series "Legion."
Starring "Downton Abbey" alum Dan Stevens, the show centers on David, the son of the comics' Charles Xavier (also known as Professor X). For years, David has been told that the voices and visions he experiences are because he is schizophrenic, but he gets a radical, new perspective. What doctors labeled a mental illness could actually be much more.
Not surprisingly, this new information is a lot for David to take in. The trailer shows how his world is upended as he grapples with what is and isn't true, and what it means for his fate and possibly that of the world. The FX series is produced with Marvel Television and also stars Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller, Katie Aselton, Jean Smart, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, and Bill Irwin.
We're in for a trippy ride when "Legion" premieres Feb. 8 on FX.
