'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Trailer Hands Universe to Baby Groot
Question: Is the best part of the new "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" trailer 1) every shot of Baby Groot or 2) Drax's laughter at Star-Lord's embarrassment? "Do me! Do me! Do me!"
The first full trailer for Marvel's "Guardians" sequel may have humiliated Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) in front of Gamora (Zoe Saldana), but director James Gunn should be very proud of it.
Here's the #GoTGVol2 1st Full Trailer we debuted yesterday in Brazil! If you like please share! We Are (Baby) Groot! https://t.co/5px5IqdKzL

Watch the trailer:The trailer gives a strong showing to Drax (Dave Bautista), Star-Lord/Peter Quill, Baby Groot (Vin Diesel) and Rocket (Bradley Cooper), with brief shots of Gamora, and the debut of Mantis (Pom Klementieff), with the new character revealing Star-Lord's "deepest darkest secret" (or at least his "sexual love" for Gamora) in front of Gamora and Drax. And, of course, the song in the trailer, "Fox on the Run," shot to number one once the trailer dropped.
UPDATE: On Monday, Gunn updated that the trailer broke a record for Marvel teasers, and took second to the new "Beauty and the Beast" teaser, despite being released on a Saturday:Congrats! "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled for release May 5th, 2017.
