'Saturday Night Live' Taps John Cena and Casey Affleck as Hosts
"Saturday Night Live" announced the hosts for its final two episodes of 2016: John Cena and Casey Affleck.
Wrestling star/actor Cena will take the reins on Dec. 10 with musical guest Maren Morris. "Manchester By the Sea" actor and Oscar frontrunner Affleck hosts on Dec. 17 with musical guest Chance the Rapper.
This is the first time hosting "SNL" for both men. The fall portion of season 42 has been stacked with first-time hosts, including Margot Robbie, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Affleck tends to do more dramatic movies, but Cena has steadily been making a move into comedic roles, and he's appeared in "Trainwreck," "Daddy's Home," and "Sisters." He also performed a sketch on "Maya & Marty," so he has a bit of experience:They'll follow Emma Stone, who hosts this week with musical guest Shawn Mendes.
