'Once Upon a Time' Creator Describes Season 5 in One Word
ABC's "Once Upon a Time" Season 4 ended with the name "Emma Swan" shown on the Dark One's Dagger. So now our main hero, The Savior, is also The Dark One. That should be interesting, dearies... OUAT Season 5 will premiere Sunday, September 27 at 8 p.m., and creators Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis have only just begun to work on the scripts. But they recently teased some details to Zap2it, and it sounds like a heavy focus will be on Jennifer Morrison's character.
When Zap2it asked for a one-word description for Season 5, Kitsis answered: "Swan." Not Emma. Not Darkness. Swan. A swan is a symbol of beauty, so maybe we'll see an Ugly Duckling-like story. Whatever happens, "Captain Swan" shippers who love Captain Hook with Emma Swan are ready to embrace Captain Dark Swan. That's not to say that Emma will dominate the season, since Horowitz told Zap2it an overall theme has been talked about, but not confirmed. "We start with a theme we want to explore and go from there," he said. "We've done our mini-camp. We actually have the next month so we like to sit for the next month and ask 'Does it still hold true?'"
They have the rest of the summer to hammer out the details and then another full year of magical mayhem is headed our way. Are you excited/nervous/exhausted/all/other?
