Dustin Diamond Back in Jail After Parole Violation
Former "Saved By the Bell" star Dustin Diamond is back in jail again after an alleged parole violation.
Diamond, who served three months in jail earlier this year on charges stemming from a Christmas Day bar brawl back in 2014, was arrested again on Wednesday in Port Washington, Wisconsin, the Associated Press reports. A jail official told the news outlet that Diamond was back in jail due to a probation violation, though no additional details were provided.
The actor had been sentenced to four months in Ozaukee County Jail, and 15 months probation, after being convicted of disorderly conduct and concealed weapon charges back in June 2015. Diamond got out in April after serving only three months, after he worked in the jail as a janitor.
It's unclear how long Diamond will be behind bars this time around. Just last week, the actor sat down for an interview on Extra with his former "Bell" castmate, Mario Lopez, and pledged to turn his life around.
"I want to put the tomfoolery and malarkey behind me... for that clean slate," Diamond told Lopez at the time. "Time for a change."
