Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon Starring in Ryan Murphy's 'Feud' Series
Hatfields and McCoys, Kanye West and Taylor Swift, watch out -- your feuds may be coming to TV soon.
FX has ordered yet another anthology series from "American Horror Story" and "American Crime Story," the latter of which debuted earlier this year with the well-regarded ratings hit "The People vs. OJ Simpson." This one is called "Feud" and focuses on famous fights through history.
The first eight-episode season will star "Horror Story" Emmy winner Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis. The two screen sirens duked it out while making the 1962 movie "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" The film went on to be a box office and critical hit, earned five Oscar nominations), and revitalized both actresses' careers. Much of that success can be attributed to their legendary, well-publicized rivalry.
No word on which famous feuds future seasons might tackle, but at least one has already been turned into a pop culture juggernaut by the name of "Hamilton."
