In case you were wondering, Johnny Depp doesn't stink. Or at least he says he doesn't. Guess we should just take his word for it? Even he knows he can look like the kind of person who hasn't washed in a month, but he's actually the ambassador for Dior Sauvage and just presented an award for 2016 fragrance of the year at Saturday's 2nd Annual Beauty Awards in Hollywood.

While on stage, Depp talked about once being voted best- and worst-dressed by the same magazine, which also said he looked like a "vagabond." However, Depp shared anecdotal evidence from strangers who confirmed he's basically a Febreze ad. As he put it (via Us Weekly):

"When I met people they said, 'You do look like a hobo, but you smell really good.' And goddamn it, I smell really good!"

He's good enough, he's smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like his scent! All kidding aside, Depp collaborated with Sauvage to create "their first fragrance for fellas since the launch of Dior Homme in 2008." And he thanked the awards show for also being a benefit for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, a charity close to his heart. So he smells good and he has a big heart. But, yeah, he does look like a very rich hobo sometimes.
